Ultimate Flexipack - India

Description :-
RL successfully produced a 1320 mm offline foiling machine for Ultimate Flexipack, one of the worlds largest packaging material manufacturer. The machine has a web width & 1320 mm and feature many unique and world first applications. RL has designed this machines for 24 hour production and will compliment four other machines our customer already has at 920 mm web width. RL is proud to have the largest single site in the world for rotary hot foiling machines from one manufacturer.

Construction :-
Due to the web width consideration had to been given to construction and roller diameters, especially when considering the foil impression roller.

Client Requirements :-
A limited timescale of 5 months was given to achieve the manufacture and installation. The specification called for 14 foil streams on each foil module. The first foil module features 14 channel hologram register, a world first.

Conclusion :-
The project was completed on time and on budget. Full training was given to all employees, with documentation.

Fusiion 550 Foiling

Scientific Games

Description :-
Rotarylogic were asked to design and manufacture a bespoke machine for foiling onto "scratch lottery tickets"

Construction :-
The machine was designed to run with web tensions of 450 Newton's. The unwind and rewind construction were fabricated from 40 mm steel plates.

Client Requirements :-
The machine had to run at a minimum speed of 80 mpm and foil onto several different surfaces on the ticket

Conclusion :-
Rotarylogic worked closely with the client and the foil supplies to find the best foils for the application. The machine was commissioned on time and has been successfully signed off.

Die Cutting Module

AB Converters

Description :-
Rotarylogic were asked to design and supply a bespoke rotary cutting station featuring servo cam profile cutting. The module was for a 750 mm web width.

Construction :-
Robust construction was required to allow for high speed cam profile die cutting with high inertia and demanding cutting metal to metal with shims mounted on a magnetic cylinder.

Client Requirements :-
The application was to run cut windows inline on a bag making machine with high accuracy up to speeds of 150 bags per minute.

Conclusion :-
The unit was delivered on time and installed inline to the bag making machine.
